Zahner & Associates, Inc. had its beginning in 1978 as Pirrie & Associates. Michael Zahner, a 9-year employee of Pirrie & Associates, acquired the company in 1991. Many employees who began their career at Pirrie & Associates continue to work at Zahner & Associates today. We are proud of the continuity of our dedicated employees. Our three experienced Party Chiefs are trained in Substation Safety and Mining and Construction Safety. We also make every effort to stay in the forefront of technological advances. Our Party Chiefs use fully equipped 4x4 survey vehicles that utilize some of the latest equipment in the industry including:

• Robotic Total Station
• Real Time Kinamatic GPS Systems (RTK)
• Static GPS
• In addition, our GPS equipment makes use of both the United States GPS and the Russian GLONASS constellations.

Our highly skilled office staff has available computer stations equipped with various survey software, capable of GPS and coordinate geometry computations. Also, computer aided drafting is used for producing high quality plats which can be delivered on various mediums.
